As the Election Commission releases trends suggesting that the BJP is likely to achieve a decisive victory over the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), an old video featuring AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal has gone viral online. In this video, Kejriwal expressed his belief that the BJP would never be able to defeat AAP in this lifetime and would need to be reborn to achieve that feat.
In a clip from November 2023, while speaking to a crowd, Arvind Kejriwal stated, “I want to inform Narendra Modi ji that defeating us in this life is impossible, and you will need to be reborn to overthrow us in Delhi.”
“As AAP continues to expand rapidly, it is only natural that significant conspiracies are being devised against us. The BJP and PM Modi have acknowledged that they cannot win against AAP in Delhi… hence they have orchestrated the ‘Liquor policy scam.’ The real liquor scandal is occurring in Gujarat, where many have lost their lives… Our leaders Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, Satyender Jain, and Vijay Nair have been detained in this fabricated liquor policy scam, and they now intend to imprison me. Their goal is to destabilize the AAP government, as PM Modi aims to establish a government in Delhi; they know they can’t defeat us through the ballot box. I want to convey to them that even if they incarcerate me, AAP will triumph from behind bars,” Kejriwal asserted.
