Dubai – The Battle of the Sexes 2025 concluded with an exhibition match featuring Nick Kyrgios and Aryna Sabalenka at the Coca-Cola Arena on December 28. While many anticipated a strong performance from Sabalenka, it was Kyrgios who claimed victory.

Kyrgios achieved a straight-sets win, finishing the match with a score of 6-3, 6-3. Throughout the encounter, he recorded one ace, while Sabalenka did not secure any. Despite her efforts, the accomplished Grand Slam champion could not overcome Kyrgios, ultimately losing both sets.

Post-match, Sabalenka reflected on her performance, expressing a desire for a rematch. “I felt great. I put on a great fight. He was struggling. He was getting tired. I was happy to see that. It was a great level [of tennis]. I made a lot of great shots. I really enjoyed the show. I feel like next time when I play him I know all his tactics and strengths,” she stated in an interview with DAZN.

Kyrgios also shared his observations from the match, offering accolades to Sabalenka for her competitive spirit. “Honestly, it was a really tough match. She is a hell of a competitor. She is a multiple Grand Slam champion. I didn’t know what to expect. It was a great opportunity to come out here. She broke my serve numerous times and I had to strap in,” he commented.
