New Chief Financial Officer appointed at Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWSOLAR) has named Ajit Pratap Singh as its new Chief Financial Officer, starting from March 24, 2025, as per the company’s announcement.

The stock of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWSOLAR) concluded trading on the NSE today at ₹235, marking a decrease of ₹7.15 or 2.95 per cent.

Singh’s appointment was ratified by the company’s Board of Directors following recommendations from both the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Audit Committee. Singh will also hold the position of Key Managerial Personnel within the company.

The current interim CFO, Sandeep Mathew, will step down from his role at the end of business hours on March 23, 2025, but will continue to serve as the Head of Investor Relations.

Bringing a wealth of experience to the table, Singh holds degrees in science, law, and finance, in addition to being a member of several professional accounting bodies such as the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.

His previous professional roles include stints at various companies like Transrail Lighting Limited, Vedanta Aluminium Limited, JSW Bengal Steel Limited, and South African Coal Mine Holdings, among others.
