Share prices of Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd., Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (L&T), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., and Bharti Airtel Ltd. were notable gainers on Tuesday.

Conversely, the top losers included Asian Paints Ltd., Bajaj Finance Ltd., and Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (HUL).

Benchmark indices recorded significant gains, with the BSE Sensex rising 0.73 percent or 594.95 points, closing at 82,380.69 after reaching an intraday high of 82,443.48. The NSE Nifty 50 experienced a surge of 0.68 percent or 169.90 points to finish at 25,239.10, strongly surpassing the 25,200 threshold.
