Mamaearth has launched a week-long clean-air initiative across Delhi NCR to mark its ninth anniversary, deploying anti-smog guns in high-traffic areas of Gurugram from December 8 to 14, 2025.
The beauty and personal care brand has positioned the equipment across six major corridors including NH8, Golf Course Road, MG Road, Sohna Road, Golf Course Extension Road, and SPR. The initiative also covers schools, hospitals, and colleges to provide localised relief from particulate matter and dust amid rising air quality index levels in the capital region.
Varun Alagh, Co-Founder and CEO of Honasa Consumer Ltd., which owns Mamaearth, said the initiative reflects the brand’s founding principle that small acts can create meaningful change. The company framed the activation as an extension of its “Goodness Inside” philosophy into environmental action.
The timing coincides with Delhi NCR’s annual winter air quality crisis. Beyond this immediate response, Mamaearth continues its environmental programs including “Plant Goodness,” which has planted over one million trees, and “Plastic Positive,” through which the company has recycled more than 13,300 tons of plastic.
Founded in 2016 by Varun and Ghazal Alagh, Mamaearth has grown to over 200 products and five million customers across 500 Indian cities. The brand operates through online platforms and more than 40,000 physical retail points nationwide.
The shares of Honasa Consumer Limited ended on the NSE today at ₹260 up by ₹3.60 or 1.40 per cent.
