Jigra Vs Vicky Vidya Box Office Collection: Rajkummar Rao Outshines Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt’s movie ‘Jigra’ and Rajkummar Rao-Triptii Dimri’s movie ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ have been making waves at the box office. ‘Jigra’ has garnered a lot of attention for its box office performance, earning 11 crores in two days. On the other hand, ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ has surpassed expectations by earning over 18 crores in its first two days. The weekend box office collection report for both films is now out.

‘Jigra’ starring Vedang Raina and Alia Bhatt, directed by Vasan Bala, collected 4.55 crores on its first day and 6.55 crores on the second day, with an additional 5.65 crores on the third day, bringing its first-weekend total to 16.75 crores.

Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao and Tripti Dimri’s ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ directed by Raj Shandilya, has been praised for its entertaining storyline. The film earned 5.50 crores on the first day, 6.9 crores on the second day, and an impressive 6.25 crores on the third day, totaling 18.65 crores in its opening weekend. The film is a comedy-drama produced by T-Series Films, Balaji Motion Pictures, Wakau Films, and Kathavachak Films.

In terms of occupancy in cinemas, ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ had a morning show occupancy of 9.02%, afternoon show occupancy of 25.73%, evening show occupancy of 28.49%, and night show occupancy of 21.07%. On the other hand, ‘Jigra’ had a morning show occupancy of 13.34%, afternoon show occupancy of 31.28%, evening show occupancy of 35.43%, and night show occupancy of 26.22%.

The success of both films at the box office is a testament to the talent and hard work of the cast and crew involved.
