At least six people, including women and children, were killed in multiple air strikes across the Gaza Strip on Thursday, as Israel reportedly continued to breach the ceasefire agreement, which has been in effect for 55 days. According to Al Jazeera, one particularly devastating strike targeted the Al-Mawasi tent camp, described as a “safe zone,” where Israeli forces incinerated Fathi Abu Hussein and his two sons, eight-year-old Bilal and ten-year-old Mohammed, while they were sleeping in their tent. Shortly afterward, another strike hit the vicinity of a nearby hospital.
In addition to those killed, the strikes also left 16 others wounded. Reports indicate that since the ceasefire began, Israel has violated the agreement at least 591 times, resulting in a total of 366 deaths.
The ongoing conflict has severely impacted Gaza’s healthcare system, which has been strained by two years of violence, complicating medical access for those in need of treatment.
