The International Spice Conference (ISC) 2025 is set to take place in Bengaluru from February 24 to 27 at The Leela Bhartiya City, organized by the All India Spices Exporters Forum (AISEF).

With the global spices industry facing various challenges, such as food safety concerns and misinformation on social media, the conference aims to drive discussions on building a resilient and responsible future for the sector.

Under the theme “Building Trust Beyond Borders: Transparency, Sustainability, Confidence,” ISC 2025 will provide stakeholders with valuable insights and tools to foster trust across the entire value chain. Emmanuel Nambusseril, Chairman of AISEF, stated, “Confidence, transparency, and sustainability are key pillars of a thriving spice industry. ISC 2025 is dedicated to addressing these critical areas and helping stakeholders adapt to evolving consumer expectations while promoting trust and responsibility in the supply chain.”

The conference will be inaugurated by Krishna M Ella, Executive Chairman of Bharat Biotech International Limited, on February 24. He will deliver a speech on “India: A dynamic force for global growth and innovation– your gateway to opportunity.” Additionally, a Lifetime Achievement Award recognizing outstanding contributions to the global spices industry will be presented during the opening session.

A pre-conference session will focus on “Myth vs reality in the global spice trade,” featuring a panel of industry experts engaging in a round-table discussion to debunk common misconceptions. Throughout the four-day event, ISC 2025 will host a series of keynote addresses and panel discussions.

Keynote speakers include Tanveer S Uberoi, Director of Mid-Market Sales at Google Customer Solutions India, who will speak on ‘Leveraging AI for market insights and improved productivity’ on February 25. On February 26, Sonam Wangchuk, Director of the Himalayan Institute of Alternatives, Ladakh & Advisor SECMOL, will address ‘Resilient futures: Strategies for climate action.’

The conference aims to foster dialogue on sustainability and transparency within the spices industry, driving towards a more responsible and resilient future.
