India secured a 2-0 series victory against the West Indies by defeating them in the second and final Test at Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi. The home side successfully chased down a target of 121 runs, achieving their goal with seven wickets in hand on the last day of the match. KL Rahul remained not out on 55 runs, finishing the series with a total of 196 runs at an average of 98 across four innings. Kuldeep Yadav was named Player of the Match for his impressive performance, claiming eight wickets.
Ravindra Jadeja earned the Player of the Series title, reflecting his outstanding contributions both with bat and ball. He scored 104 runs in his only innings and took eight wickets throughout the series, demonstrating his all-round capabilities in Test cricket.
In the second Test, Yashasvi Jaiswal was a standout performer, scoring an impressive 175 runs in the first innings. He also received the Great Striker of the Match award. Sai Sudharsan attracted attention for his catch at forward short leg, which led to a dismissal of John Campbell. The catch, initially a misdirected hit, resulted in Sudharsan receiving ₹1 lakh as prize money.
Shai Hope was the only West Indies player to be recognized, scoring a commendable century in the second innings and ensuring that India had to bat again. He accumulated a total of 166 runs in four innings, with the bulk of his runs coming from the Delhi Test.
