Bollywood director Rohit Shetty is all set to bring a fresh adaptation of the Hindu epic Ramayan with his upcoming film, Singham Again. The much-awaited trailer of Singham Again has finally been released, and it promises to be a complete entertainer with elements of drama, action, romance, comedy, and suspense. Drawing inspiration from Ramayan, the film depicts a modern-day battle of good versus evil.
The nearly 5-minute long trailer introduces the ensemble cast of Singham Again, with Ajay Devgn playing the role of a modern-day Ram, determined to rescue his Sita, portrayed by Kareena Kapoor Khan. Tiger Shroff appears as Lakshman, Ranveer Singh as Hanuman, Akshay Kumar as a modern Jatayu, and Deepika Padukone in an unexpected role as Lady Singham. Additionally, Salman Khan makes a special appearance as Dabbang Chulbul Pandey, adding to the star-studded lineup.
Reactions to the trailer on social media have been positive, although some feel that the plot has been revealed in its entirety. Singham Again marks the fifth installment in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe, following the success of films like Singham, Singham Returns, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi.
