Dreamy Debut: Ibrahim & Khushi Kapoor Shine in Nadaaniyan Trailer

Netflix has just unveiled the trailer for “Nadaaniyan,” a romantic drama starring Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor in their Bollywood debut. Produced by Karan Johar and directed by Shauna Gautam, the film is set to premiere on March 7, 2025.

The storyline of “Nadaaniyan” revolves around Pia Jai Singh (Khushi Kapoor), a sophisticated socialite from South Delhi, who believes love should adhere to a set script. She ropes in Arjun Mehta (Ibrahim Ali Khan), a hardworking middle-class student aspiring to lead his school’s debate team, to pose as her fake boyfriend. However, as their faux romance deepens, genuine emotions begin to surface, creating a whirlwind of feelings, misunderstandings, and dilemmas that challenge their views on love.

The movie explores the intricacies of young relationships, offering a relatable and captivating experience for the Gen-Z audience. What starts as a casual arrangement soon evolves into an emotional rollercoaster, underscoring the notion that love doesn’t always conform to expectations.

Featuring a stellar supporting cast including Mahima Chaudhary, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj, “Nadaaniyan” promises to deliver a mix of nostalgia and novelty, appealing to viewers of all age groups.

Director Shauna Gautam expressed her enthusiasm for the project, labeling it as a personal and heartfelt venture. She remarked, “Directing ‘Nadaaniyan’ has been an incredibly special journey, particularly as my debut film. The story captures the innocence and unpredictability of first love. Collaborating with such an incredible cast, especially Ibrahim in his debut role, has been a delightful experience. I can’t wait for audiences to embark on this fun, heartfelt journey on Netflix.”

Scheduled for release on March 7, 2025, exclusively on Netflix, “Nadaaniyan” is poised to offer a refreshing addition to the streaming platform’s expanding Bollywood repertoire.
