The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids at approximately ten locations across Kashmir on Monday as part of its investigation into the Delhi blast case.
The operation targeted residences associated with individuals including Moulvi Irfan Ahmad Wagay, Dr. Adeel, Dr. Muzamil, and Amir Rashid. Reports indicate that the searches are occurring in Nadigam village in Shopian, along with Koil, Chandgam, Malangpora, and Samboora villages in Pulwama.
Officials have stated that the raids aim to uncover evidence potentially connected to the “white-collar module” and the recent Delhi blast. The NIA executed coordinated operations in multiple locations throughout Pulwama district, focusing particularly on the residences linked to Dr. Muzamil Shakeel, one of the suspects in the case.
Teams from the central agency, accompanied by local police, sealed the premises during the search operations, which lasted several hours at each site. Local residents reported restricted movement around the homes, drawing attention from the surrounding areas.
Reports indicate that the NIA confiscated various electronic devices, including mobile phones and digital equipment, as well as handwritten notebooks and documents for further examination. No arrests were made during the searches.
Officials noted that the raids form part of broader efforts to accumulate evidence and identify any operational or logistical support networks related to the accused individuals. Investigators are also analyzing digital data to uncover potential communication trails and financial transactions related to the case.
