DAM Capital Advisors, a leading investment bank, is all set to make its stock market debut today. The company’s IPO was priced at ₹283 per share and garnered strong interest from investors, with the issue being oversubscribed 82 times. The IPO was entirely through an offer-for-sale by the promoter and investors, including Multiples Alternate Asset Management, RBL Bank, Easyaccess Financial Services, and Narotam Satyanarayan Sekhsaria.

The institutional investor category saw a subscription of 166.33 times, while the non-institutional investor category received bids for 98.62 times the shares on offer. Retail investors subscribed 27.13 times, and the employee quota was oversubscribed at 40.55 times. Analysts predict that the stock may see a listing gain of about 50% over its issue price.

With renowned investors like Nomura, Goldman Sachs, and HDFC Mutual Fund among its anchor investors, DAM Capital Advisors managed to raise ₹251.48 crore prior to the IPO. The company offers a range of financial solutions, including equity capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and institutional equities services.

As a prominent player in the investment banking space, DAM Capital Advisors holds a market share of 12.1% based on the number of IPOs and qualified institutional placements undertaken by it as the book-running lead manager. The company plans to utilize the proceeds from the IPO for the benefit of the selling shareholders.

The IPO was managed by Nuvama Wealth Management, and the equity shares of DAM Capital Advisors will be listed on both the BSE and NSE. Investors are advised to stay updated on the post-listing trends of the company before making long-term investment decisions amidst short-term market volatility. Overall, DAM Capital Advisors’ IPO has generated significant interest in the market, and all eyes will be on its performance post-listing.
