At least four individuals have lost their lives due to severe winter winds that caused walls to collapse onto makeshift tents sheltering Palestinians displaced by ongoing conflict in Gaza. The precarious living conditions persist more than two years after the onset of intensive Israeli bombardment, despite a ceasefire in effect since October 10. Amidst continued aid shortfalls, families struggle to find adequate shelter against harsh winter storms. Tragically, three family members, including a 72-year-old man, his 15-year-old granddaughter, and his daughter-in-law, were killed when an eight-meter-high wall fell on their tent. Additionally, reports indicate that at least seven people have died from severe cold, which includes young children. The Gaza Health Ministry reports over 440 fatalities attributed to Israeli fire since the ceasefire began, amid a backdrop of humanitarian challenges, with many displaced residents living in makeshift tents following the destruction of their homes.
