EaseMyTrip, a prominent online travel platform, has appointed its co-founder Rikant Pittie as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective January 1, 2025. Pittie, who was instrumental in the establishment of the company in 2008, will be leading strategic initiatives and innovation efforts at the company.

With 16 years of experience in the industry, Pittie has played a crucial role in the growth of EaseMyTrip into a leading travel solutions provider. The company has maintained profitability since its inception and has seen a significant 47% CAGR in profits before tax from FY20-24.

Under Pittie’s leadership, EaseMyTrip has expanded its services to include air tickets, hotel bookings, holiday packages, and transportation services. The platform offers access to over 400 airlines and 2 million hotels globally.

Pittie’s appointment as CEO comes with a wealth of industry recognition, including being named among IDFC FIRST Private & Hurun India’s Top 200 Self-Made Entrepreneurs of the Millennium 2024. He also holds the position of Vice Chairman of the CII Delhi State Council for 2024-2025.

EaseMyTrip, which operates in multiple Indian cities and has international offices in seven countries, is a prominent player in the travel tech industry. With Pittie at the helm, the company is poised for further growth and innovation in the coming years.
