CES 2026 officially kicks off today, January 5, but the first day of CES is typically just for media previews. We’ve already seen quite a bit of what’s being announced this year at these preview events, and the news announcements will continue to roll out over the first day as all the big-name companies unveil their wares. The bigger day at CES is Tuesday; that’s when the expo hall opens to the public, so that’s when we get to see the grand spectacle that CES is known for: the light shows, the crazy concept cars, the giant walls of televisions.
