Brigade Enterprises Limited’s recent announcement of signing a Memorandum of Understanding with Technopark to develop a World Trade Center and business hotel in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, marks a significant milestone in the real estate and infrastructure development sector. The project, expected to create approximately 1.5 million square feet of infrastructure, aims to attract IT multinational companies by providing Grade A office space and generate over 10,000 direct and indirect jobs in the region.

The investment by Brigade Group of approximately ₹1,500 crores in Kerala over the coming years reflects their commitment to the growth and development of the state’s infrastructure. This project is in line with the company’s track record of successfully developing properties across major Indian cities and expanding their presence in various sectors including residential, office, retail, hospitality, and education.

The formal presentation of the MoU to Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan by Brigade Enterprises’ Executive Chairman M. R. Jaishankar highlights the significance of this partnership and the potential economic impact it could have on the region. With Brigade Group’s previous successful development of a World Trade Center in Kochi and their ongoing expansion in the city, the Thiruvananthapuram project is poised to further establish their reputation as a leading developer in the state.

Overall, Brigade Enterprises Limited’s collaboration with Technopark for the development of a World Trade Center and business hotel in Thiruvananthapuram is a strategic move that not only aims to enhance the commercial infrastructure of the region but also contributes to job creation and economic growth. The project signifies a significant development in the real estate sector in Kerala and showcases Brigade Group’s commitment to driving innovation and progress in the state’s urban landscape.
