The fourth session of the Andhra Pradesh State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) took place on Thursday, led by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravati. During this meeting, significant investments amounting to ₹1,21,659 crore from ten companies across various sectors, including power and tourism, were approved.
Among the approved investments are Premier Energies in Naidupeta, which is set to invest ₹1,742 crore; Dalmia Cement in Kadapa with ₹2,883 crore; and Lulu Global International in Visakhapatnam contributing ₹1,500 crore. Other notable projects include Satyavedu Reserve Infracity (Sri City) with an investment of ₹25,000 crore, Indosol Solar contributing ₹58,469 crore, and Balaji Action Buildwell at ₹1,175 crore. Additionally, AP NGEL Harith Amrit in Anantapur and Sri Satya Sai Districts will invest ₹22,000 crore, while Aastha Green Energy Ventures in Annamayya and Kadapa districts will invest ₹8,240 crore. Mayfair Beach Resorts & Convention and Oberoi Vilas Resort are also set to invest ₹400 crore and ₹250 crore, respectively, as indicated in the official statement.
In previous SIPB meetings, investments of ₹83,987 crore, ₹1,82,162 crore, and ₹44,776 crore were approved. With the latest approvals, the cumulative amount from all four SIPB meetings since the new NDA government took office has reached ₹4,32,584 crore, which is expected to create approximately 3,92,680 job opportunities.
