Target Price: ₹1,625
Current Market Price: ₹1,352.30

Rainbow Children’s Medicare has established a strong competitive advantage by providing specialized care across various complex pediatric specialties, such as Neonatology, Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Oncology, and Pediatric Orthopaedics. These services collectively account for a significant portion of the company’s overall revenue.

The company employs a multi-specialty network and a hub-and-spoke model to enhance its market position, ensuring broader access while optimizing cost efficiency. Rainbow’s focus on high-complexity and high-value procedures, coupled with ongoing capacity expansion—evident in new hospitals being developed in Gurugram, Tamil Nadu, Bengaluru, and Northern India—is anticipated to support sustainable revenue and margin growth in the medium term.

Rainbow is well-positioned to achieve healthy growth, backed by strong occupancy rates in established hospitals, increasing contributions from newly opened facilities, and a concentrated specialization in pediatric and maternity care.

Initiating coverage with a Buy recommendation, analysts have set a discounted cash flow (DCF)-based Target Price of ₹1,625 per share, reflecting an enterprise value-to-EBITDA ratio of 23 times the estimated EBITDA for the first half of the fiscal year 2028. This forecast implies a potential upside of 20 percent from the current market price. Rainbow has built a robust brand reputation in pediatric healthcare over the years through consistent delivery of high-quality services.

Analysts maintain a target price of ₹72 and uphold an Outperform rating, noting risks that include decreased patient traffic, toll leakage, and potential project delays.
