Revenue was up nine per cent at ₹461 crore (₹424 crore) in the quarter under review. Other income was more than halved to ₹45 crore (₹96 crore). Expenses increased to ₹191 crore (₹185 crore).
The average asset under management of the fund house increased 11 per cent to ₹4.25 lakh crore (₹3.83 lakh crore). Equity asset jumped 7 per cent to ₹1.92 lakh crore (₹1.81 lakh crore) while fixed income asset was up 15 per cent, at ₹2.33 lakh crore (₹2.03 lakh crore).
The asset from beyond top-30 cities increased 5 per cent to ₹74,900 crore (₹71,100 crore).
SIP inflows down
Inflows through systematic investment plan (SIP) were down 9 per cent at ₹1,100 crore (₹1,212 crore). New SIP accounts registered in the quarter were down at 5.82 lakh (11.55 lakh), while contributing SIP accounts fell 39 lakh (43 lakh). Passive fund AUM was up five times, to ₹36,100 crore (₹15,300 crore), with ETF asset of ₹8,800 crore (₹1,600 crore); fund of funds and index AUM of ₹4,100 crore (₹1,200 crore), and ₹23,200 crore (₹12,500 crore),respectively.
Shares of the company were down two per cent at ₹834 on Friday.
