Venezuela’s acting president, Delcy Rodriguez, is scheduled to embark on a five-day visit to India starting June 3, amidst the ongoing Middle East crisis. The visit aims to enhance bilateral cooperation in vital sectors including energy, trade, and technology.
Randhir Jaiswal, spokesperson for India’s external affairs ministry, announced that Rodriguez will engage in comprehensive discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during her visit.
Accompanying Rodriguez will be a high-level delegation consisting of several ministers, specifically from foreign affairs, economy and finance, science and technology, communication and information, and transportation.
This visit is expected to strengthen the ties between India and Venezuela, with particular emphasis on collaboration across key areas. The diplomatic engagement will continue until June 7.
