Upcoming Car Launches in June 2026

For those planning to purchase a new vehicle in June 2026, an exciting array of launches is on the horizon. Car manufacturers are gearing up to unveil models appealing to luxury aficionados, performance enthusiasts, and electric vehicle (EV) supporters. Below is a summary of four anticipated releases, including specifications and expected pricing.

Mercedes-Benz S-Class Facelift

Set to debut on June 15, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class facelift includes the S 450e plug-in hybrid. This model features a 3.0-litre turbo-petrol straight-six engine coupled with an electric motor and a substantial 22kWh battery, generating a combined output of 435 horsepower and 680 Nm of torque. The sedan can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds. Aesthetic updates include a larger illuminated grille, refined LED headlights, and redesigned taillights. Inside, the latest MBUX Superscreen infotainment system and the MB.OS platform enhance tech features and connectivity. The expected price range is between Rs 2 crore and Rs 2.20 crore (ex-showroom).

BMW X6 M60i

The BMW X6 M60i is already making waves with its pre-booking phase underway. It will be powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 mild-hybrid petrol engine that produces 523 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque. The all-wheel-drive SUV, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds. The vehicle is designed to impress with features such as a bold black grille, 21-inch alloy wheels, and red brake calipers. Pricing is expected to fall between Rs 1.75 crore and Rs 1.90 crore (ex-showroom).

Skoda Kodiaq RS

Skoda is set to introduce the Kodiaq RS, a performance-oriented SUV built as a completely built unit (CBU). This model boasts a more potent variant of Skoda’s 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, mated to a 7-speed DSG and all-wheel drive. Sporting a sportier look with exclusive alloys, red brake calipers, and a black cabin accented with red details, the Kodiaq RS promises a distinct upgrade from the standard model. The price is anticipated to range between Rs 60 lakh and Rs 70 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Sierra EV

The much-awaited Tata Sierra EV will make its debut in June, offering nostalgia along with modern EV technology. Positioned below the Harrier EV, it will feature both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive options, with a driving range exceeding 500 km. The design is contemporary, integrating distinct EV styling, a premium interior, and advanced connected features. Competing with models such as the Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE 6, Maruti Suzuki eVitara, and MG ZS EV, the Sierra EV’s pricing is expected to be between Rs 22 lakh and Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom).

June is shaping up to be an exciting month for car buyers, with a blend of luxury, power, and electric innovation on offer. The Tata Sierra EV, in particular, is generating considerable anticipation, merging heritage with the increasing demand for premium electric SUVs in India.
