New Delhi: The stage is set for the UEFA Champions League final, where defending champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) will face Arsenal at the Puskas Arena in Budapest on May 30. Both teams have demonstrated impressive performances to reach this pinnacle match.

PSG advanced to the final after overcoming Bayern Munich in the semi-finals, having previously defeated Liverpool in the quarter-finals. The team is determined to defend their title against Arsenal.

Following the team’s semi-final victory, PSG manager Luis Enrique addressed the upcoming clash. He acknowledged the challenge posed by Arsenal, stating, “I appreciate Mikelito Arteta! We used to be teammates when we were kids; he has done a great job at Arsenal. It will be a difficult game, but we believe in our football style,” as reported by metro.co.uk.

In discussing the semi-final against Bayern Munich, Enrique expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance, particularly praising the defense. “Good memories. We left the match with a lot of intensity. The defense was better than the attack. The character we showed against a team like Bayern is very positive. We are thrilled to reach a second consecutive Champions League final,” he said.

Enrique further noted the intensity of the match, emphasizing the high level of competition. “It was very intense. Very difficult. They play football at the highest level. Both teams are similar; we love to press higher. We want to give our supporters a reason to celebrate in the final,” he concluded.
