Bank of Maharashtra Q4 Results: Shares Surge
Shares of Bank of Maharashtra reached a 52-week high on the NSE, trading at Rs 79.20, up from the previous close of Rs 75.54. For the quarter ending March 2026, the bank reported a standalone net profit of Rs 2,014.09 crore, an increase from Rs 1,493.08 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. In FY26, the bank’s profit after tax (PAT) rose to Rs 7,019.32 crore, compared to Rs 5,519.79 crore for the previous fiscal year.
The board recommended a final dividend of Rs 1.20 per share, in addition to the Rs 1 declared on January 13, 2026, which has already been paid out. The board also approved raising up to Rs 7,500 crore in capital through equity shares via preferential allotment to Government of India, LIC, or Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) among other means. This includes the issuance of Long-Term Infra Bonds up to Rs 10,000 crore during FY 2026-27 and foreign currency bonds up to USD 500 million in multiple tranches within the same period.

Groww Q4 Results: Shares Steady
Billionbrains Garage Ventures (Groww) shares remained flat at Rs 197.59 on the NSE, having opened at Rs 201 and reached a peak of Rs 203. The stock had closed at Rs 196.11 on the previous trading day. The company reported a substantial increase in profitability, with consolidated net profit for the March quarter rising 122% year-over-year to ₹686 crore, compared to ₹309 crore during the corresponding period last year.
