New Delhi: Bangladesh and New Zealand are set to commence a multi-format white-ball series, starting with the first One Day International (ODI) on April 17 at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur. This series is regarded as vital preparation for both teams ahead of the upcoming ODI World Cup 2027.

The series schedule includes three ODIs, with the second and third matches taking place on April 20 and 23, respectively. Following the ODIs, the teams will compete in three T20 matches on April 27, 29, and May 2.

In the first ODI, New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first, aiming for a strong start in the series. Tom Latham captains the Black Caps, while Mehidy Hasan leads the Bangladesh side. The matchup presents an intriguing contest as both teams look to secure an early advantage.
