Tata Motors Unveils Petrol Pricing for Safari and Harrier SUVs
Tata Motors has officially released the variant-wise pricing for the petrol-powered versions of its Safari and Harrier SUVs. This announcement comes after the unveiling of the much-anticipated petrol lineup in December of the previous year. Both vehicles are equipped with a direct-injection turbo-petrol engine developed in-house, which first made its debut with the 2025 Tata Sierra.
The Tata Harrier’s petrol range is priced from Rs 12.89 lakh to Rs 24.69 lakh (ex-showroom). In contrast, the Tata Safari petrol starts at Rs 13.29 lakh, reaching up to Rs 25.20 lakh.

New Features and Trims for Tata Safari Petrol
The Safari petrol introduces a new flagship trim known as Accomplished Ultra. Building on the features of the Accomplished + trim, it adds:
- A 14.53-inch Samsung touchscreen infotainment system with Dolby Atmos support.
- A digital interior rearview mirror (IRVM) that includes a dashcam.
- A premium white-and-brown dual-tone interior theme.
- On-board navigation and a memory function for the outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs).
- A specialized washing function for the reversing camera, as well as a 65W Type-C fast-charging port.
Key Highlights for Tata Harrier Petrol
The Harrier petrol also receives significant updates, including:
- Camera washers for both front and rear cameras.
- A memory function for the ORVMs.
- An upgraded interior featuring a lighter color scheme with faux wood and silver pinstriping on the dashboard.
- The same 14.53-inch QLED touchscreen that supports Dolby Atmos.
Powertrain and Performance Overview
Both the Safari and Harrier are powered by a 1.5-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol engine derived from the Sierra. This engine has been tuned to deliver 170 hp and 280 Nm of torque, an increase of 10 hp and 25 Nm compared to the Sierra. However, these figures are slightly lower than those of its chief competitor, the Mahindra XUV700, which boasts a larger 1997cc engine producing 203 hp and 380 Nm of torque.
