It has been the result of all the hard work we have put in. We’ve earned our recognition this year, and now it’s about maintaining consistency and continuing to win. Everyone was very positive when we discussed strike rates and raising our standards,” Kaur stated during the post-match presentation.
Shafali Verma Awarded Player of the Series
India opener Shafali Verma was named Player of the Series for her outstanding performances throughout the series. She reflected on her achievements and future aspirations. “My efforts throughout the year have paid off. Sometimes, all the work you put in comes together. I will strive to improve further and return stronger next time. T20 and ODI are different formats; in ODIs, you need to play along the ground, while T20 is my favorite. I am making progress day by day to become a better player for the team,” Verma remarked.
