New Delhi: The fourth edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) is currently underway, with a significant auction taking center stage. Notable player transactions have transpired, with Mumbai Indians securing Amelia Kerr for ₹3 crore and Deepti Sharma surpassing her, becoming the most expensive player at ₹3.2 crore after being retained by UP Warriorz through the Right to Match (RTM) option. At the outset of the auction, 73 slots were available, and it remains to be seen how teams will finalize their rosters for the upcoming season.
