Dr. Puneet Kaur Kohli has taken on the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Generali Central Life Insurance. Before her appointment at Generali, Dr. Kohli served as President of IT and Data (CIO) at Liberty General Insurance, where she was instrumental as the Market Technology Leader in India, contributing significantly to the organization’s presence in Asia Retail Markets (ARM).

With over 30 years of comprehensive experience in information technology, Dr. Kohli has worked across various industries, focusing on essential aspects of IT delivery worldwide, from project implementation to strategic planning. Her extensive experience includes driving digital transformation initiatives across diverse sectors, having worked with organizations such as AT&T, Bharti Airtel, Soma Networks, Bajaj Capital, and Universal Sompo General Insurance.
A distinguished alumna of Delhi University, Dr. Kohli earned her MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies and later obtained a Research Doctorate from Young Scientists University in the USA. Throughout her distinguished career, she has traveled to more than 100 countries across six continents. In addition to her professional roles, Dr. Kohli is a sought-after speaker at various technology forums and has authored multiple books.
