New Delhi: The forthcoming edition of the Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 is set to commence on November 14th. This tournament is a revamped version of the Emerging Asia Cup, featuring an opening match between Oman and Pakistan Shaheens, followed by a second match featuring India A against the UAE. All matches will take place in Doha.
Promising young talents such as Priyansh Arya, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Nehal Wadhera, Naman Dhir, among others, will represent India A during the tournament. Defending champions Afghanistan A will seek to retain their title; however, they face stiff competition from a talented India A squad, raising anticipation about the tournament’s outcome.
The Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 will feature eight participating teams divided into two groups of four. Each team will compete against the other three teams in their group once, with the top two teams advancing to the knockout stage. The winners of each group will meet the second-placed team from the opposite group in the semi-finals. The tournament will be conducted in a T20 format.
