Noman, a resident of Shamli, Uttar Pradesh, has been confirmed dead following the recent blast near the Red Fort. He was in Sadar Bazar with his cousin, Aman, to procure items for their cosmetics business when the tragedy struck.

On Monday evening, relatives gathered outside Lok Nayak Hospital, anxiously awaiting updates. Noman’s uncle, Sonu, shared that while they had managed to contact Aman, who was receiving treatment inside the hospital, they had yet to locate Noman. “Aman is inside the hospital. We spoke to him briefly, but we still have no word about Noman,” he stated, highlighting their hours of waiting.

By Tuesday, the family received the heartbreaking confirmation of Noman’s death due to his injuries. The cousins had traveled to Delhi for business purposes.

Relatives who had come from Uttar Pradesh to the hospital were hopeful of receiving news about Noman’s condition. Many stayed through the night only to learn later of his passing. The hospital was overwhelmed with distraught family members who had traveled long distances, facing barriers at the entrance while desperately seeking information about their loved ones.

The death toll from the blast near the Red Fort Metro Station has now risen to 13. Officials reported that many victims remain unidentified following the explosion within a moving Hyundai i20 car near Gate No. 1 on Monday evening.

The blast occurred around 7 PM at the Subhash Marg traffic signal. Security forces are currently investigating the cause of the explosion. Sources indicate that the driver of the vehicle, Umar Mohammad, a resident of Pulwama and a doctor, may have links to the Faridabad module.

On Tuesday, the Delhi Police announced that they had analyzed over 100 CCTV cameras, tracing the Hyundai i20’s entry into the capital from the Badarpur toll booth via the Faridabad road at approximately 8:13 AM on Monday.
