AXISCADES Aerospace & Technologies has enhanced its long-standing collaboration with European missile systems company MBDA by inaugurating an expanded test bench facility at its Aeroland campus in Devanahalli, Bengaluru, on November 6, 2025.
The new facility is designed to facilitate the mass production of advanced test benches for MBDA’s missile and launcher platforms. This expansion significantly builds on the partnership’s foundation that began a decade ago when the companies first collaborated on developing test benches for the MICA missile system.
In addition to the new facility, AXISCADES is establishing a dedicated MBDA system integration centre at the Devanahalli Atmanirbhar Cluster in Bengaluru to expedite the localization of missile technology. Furthermore, the company plans to construct a Missile Atmanirbhar Complex in Hyderabad aimed at large-scale production of next-generation missile systems.
Florent Duleux, Group Director of Export Sales at MBDA, stated that these new facilities would bolster Make in India initiatives and meet MBDA’s global demand. Dr. Sampath Ravinarayanan, Founder Chairman and Managing Director of AXISCADES, highlighted how the partnership aligns with India’s strategic objectives in missile production.
AXISCADES, a subsidiary of AXISCADES Technologies Limited, specializes in defense, aerospace, and strategic electronics solutions. Headquartered in Bangalore, the company employs over 3,000 professionals across 17 global locations, collaborating with the Indian defense forces, the Ministry of Defence, and various global original equipment manufacturers.
