Bengaluru: The second and final four-day match between India A and South Africa A begins today, with several prominent Indian Test players preparing for the upcoming two-match Test series against South Africa starting November 14. Rishabh Pant will captain India A, alongside notable players such as KL Rahul, Mohammed Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav, and Akash Deep, who will compete at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (COE) in Bengaluru.
In the previous match, India A successfully chased a target of 275 runs, securing victory by three wickets, with Rishabh Pant contributing significantly by scoring 90 runs. With key Test players returning, India A is anticipated to make several changes to their playing XI for this encounter.
For South Africa, Test captain Temba Bavuma is set to participate, making his return from injury. The visitors demonstrated strong performance in the opening match and will aim to challenge the Indian team’s prominent players in this game.
