Riyadh is gearing up to host the Six Kings Slam 2025 from October 15 to 18, featuring a prestigious lineup of top-tier men’s tennis players in an exhibition tournament. This event, although not contributing to ATP rankings, has earned prominence due to its elite participants, substantial prize money, and global audience appeal.
The tournament will utilize a knockout format, beginning with the quarterfinal rounds on October 15, followed by semifinals on October 16, a rest day on October 17, and concluding with the final and third-place match on October 18.
The competition will see reigning champion Jannik Sinner return to defend his title alongside prominent players such as Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic. Alexander Zverev and Taylor Fritz will also participate, bringing extensive experience on hard courts. Greek player Stefanos Tsitsipas is stepping in as a late replacement for the injured Jack Draper.
Tsitsipas’ involvement adds a unique dynamic to the tournament. Despite being ranked outside the top 10, his talent and aptitude for high-pressure matches position him as a formidable opponent. He is slated to face Sinner in a marquee quarterfinal on Wednesday night, immediately following the match between Zverev and Fritz.
Semifinal encounters will feature Alcaraz and Djokovic, who will await the winners of the quarterfinals. This setup creates the potential for highly anticipated matchups, with fans looking forward to possible showdowns such as Alcaraz vs. Zverev and Sinner vs. Djokovic.
Financially, the stakes are considerably high. Each participant is set to receive a $1.5 million appearance fee, with the champion earning an additional $4.5 million, totaling a remarkable $6 million prize. The overall prize purse amounts to $13.5 million.
