The Rythu Bharosa Scheme offers annual input assistance of ₹12,000 for each farmer. Telangana has set an ambitious goal to become a $1 trillion economy over the next decade. The state’s Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) is currently valued at ₹16.12 lakh crore, with a growth rate of 10.1%, surpassing the national GDP growth rate.

In terms of its budget, Telangana has allocated ₹3.04 lakh crore, of which ₹2.26 lakh crore is designated for revenue expenditure and ₹36,504 crore for capital expenditure. The Rajiv Yuva Vikas scheme has received a budget of ₹6,000 crore, while the government anticipates central grants amounting to ₹22,782 crore.

Additional revenue streams include ₹8,535 crore from vehicle taxes, ₹27,623 crore from the excise department, and the state’s total own revenues reaching ₹1.45 lakh crore. The per capita income in Telangana is ₹3.79 lakh, reflecting a growth rate of 9.6%, which outpaces the national per capita income of ₹2.05 lakh growing at 8.8%.

Women in the state have benefited greatly from initiatives such as the free bus service, saving approximately ₹5,006 crore through the Mahalakshmi Scheme, which provides over 149.63 crore free trips over a period of 15 months. The Gruha Jyothi scheme supports 50 lakh families with free electricity, costing the state ₹1,775 crore, while the subsidized LPG scheme benefiting 43 lakh families requires an expenditure of ₹433 crore.

Furthermore, the Indiramma Housing Scheme has provisioned approximately 4.5 lakh houses with a total allocation of ₹22,500 crore, ensuring a minimum of 3,500 houses sanctioned per constituency. The government has also introduced the Clean and Green Energy Policy 2025, which aims to generate 20,000 MW of renewable energy by 2030, with a plan to expand this to 40,000 MW by 2035. Additionally, ₹11,500 crore has been earmarked in subsidies to ensure a reliable power supply for farmers, alongside ₹3,000 crore dedicated to providing free electricity to households and schools.

Furthermore, a Mega Master Plan for 2050 is proposed to position Telangana as a leader in technology and renewable energy projects.
