The Telangana government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with JSW UAV Limited, a subsidiary of JSW Defence, to set up a manufacturing facility for Unmanned Aerial Systems in the state. This agreement was finalized during the World Economic Forum held in Davos, Switzerland.

JSW UAV, in partnership with a prominent US-based defense technology firm, is planning to invest approximately Rs 800 crore into this project. The initiative is expected to create over 200 high-skilled jobs, according to a statement released by the Chief Minister’s Office in Telangana on Wednesday.
