Last Chance to Register for GATE 2025 – Don’t Miss Out!

GATE 2025, conducted by the Institute of Roorkee, is all set to conclude its registration process for engineering programmes on October 3, 2024. Aspirants who have not yet registered for the exam can visit the official website of GATE 2025 at gate2025.iitr.ac.in and submit their applications by tomorrow.

It is important to note that the application process for GATE 2025 can only be completed online, with each candidate allowed to fill out only one application form. If a candidate wishes to appear in the second paper, they can add the respective paper to their original application. However, IIT-Roorkee has warned that only one application will be accepted in case of multiple submissions, with the remaining applications being rejected without any refund.

The GATE 2025 exams are scheduled to take place on February 1st, 2nd, 15th, and 16th, 2025 in two shifts – forenoon and afternoon – on each of these days. The exam timings will be from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm for the forenoon shift and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm for the afternoon shift.

Candidates should also be aware that the validity of GATE 2025 scores will be for three years from the date of result announcement. As for the eligibility criteria, candidates currently in the 3rd year or higher of an undergraduate degree program or those who have completed a government-approved degree program in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Science/Commerce/Arts/Humanities are eligible to appear for GATE 2025.

Regarding the application fee, female/SC/ST/PwD candidates will need to pay ₹900 per test paper between August 24 to September 26, which will increase to ₹1400 during the late fee period from September 27 to October 7, 2024. For all other candidates, including , the fee will be ₹1800 (August 24 to September 26) and ₹2,300 (with late fee: September 27 to October 7, 2024).

To complete the registration process, candidates will be required to submit various documents including a passport size photograph, signature, category certificate (if applicable), proof of PwD (if applicable), Dyslexia certificate (if applicable), valid photo ID, address details, eligibility degree information, and payment details.

To apply for GATE 2025, candidates can visit the official website, register, fill out the application form, submit the necessary documents, pay the application fee, and save a copy for future reference.

The exam pattern for GATE 2025 will consist of 30 papers, with the mode of examination being in English and entirely objective type. Candidates can choose one or two test papers from permissible combinations, with the exam duration being 3 hours. The question types will include MCQs, MSQs, and NAT questions, with the use of a virtual calculator provided for calculations.

In conclusion, GATE 2025 is a prestigious examination that opens doors to various engineering programs, and aspiring candidates must ensure they complete the registration process before the deadline to secure their participation in the exam.
